Friday i saw the movie with my friends and it was completely sold out.
Saturday - all the cinemas showing the movie were sold out from the morning!
i heard the same for Sunday.
It was a good movie - Ranbir Kapoor is sooooooooooooo charasmatic, you almost want to jump out of your seat and start dancing with him.
He is exactly like his grandfather - Raj Kapoor.
go check out the film - its good.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani breaks into US top 10 weekend box office charts
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which opened in 162 theatres in US on Friday, earned $1.6 million.
Box-office analyst Paul Dergarabedian told the New York Post that it was very unusual to see a Bollywood film in top 10, asserting that sometimes these movies did crack into the top 20 or top 15 (domestically).
He said that they are usually not released in that many theatres but make a big splash.
The film featured on the eighth position in the list.

New Delhi: It has been a long while since Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone parted ways to pursue separate paths ever since their much-publicised break-up.
A lot has been written about Ranbir’s mother – Neetu Kapoor’s – issue with her son’s ex – Deepika Padukone. But not many know what really irked Neetu to the extent of her not being able to tolerate Dippy under her nose.
A source revealed to a daily that Deepika used to be a regular fixture at the Kapoor household while she was dating Ranbir. Not just that, she even preferred staying back even when Ranbir would leave for his shoots and would order the staff around like the mistress of the house.
Obviously, all this did not go down well with Neetu Kapoor and she heaved a sigh of relief only when the couple broke up.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Kapoor is happy that Ranbir and Deepika are sticking to just being friends and she is cordial with Deepika every time they meet. On the other hand, as the world knows, Ranbir is supposedly dating Katrina Kaif now.
Well, all’s well that’s ends well. What do you say? |

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday expressed his displeasure over the attribution of shots in ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ to Manali while they were filmed in north Kashmir`s Gulmarg.
"It is irritating when we roll out the red carpet and facilitate the shoot only to have people believe it`s Manali #YJHD," the chief minister tweeted Saturday.
Abdullah also wanted to know whether producer Karan Johar had given any credit at all to the state for shooting scenes of the movie there.
"If anyone has seen the movie can you tell me whether they have at least mentioned the state in the credits (opening or closing) #YJHD," Omar said in another tweet on the subject.
Praising Kashmir for its scenic beauty, he said: "Those of you planning to visit Manali because of what you saw in #YJHD except for the temple and Span resort it`s all Gulmarg."
The chief minister had last year visited Gulmarg and met the crew of the movie when they were shooting there.
Anxious to have Bollywood back in the Valley for shooting, Omar had asked the officials in Gulmarg to extend all possible cooperation to the film unit during its shoot.
