An Ontario lawyer who abandoned his $200,000 Ferrari during the recent destructive Toronto storm has captured the hearts and minds of those looking for a silver lining in the dark clouds.
With the city still fighting to regain full power and facing further nasty weather, there are more troubles ahead. An abandoned sports car can perhaps help us keep focused on what's important.
There is a score of memorable images of the recent Toronto storm — be they of overflowing commuter trains, bogged subway stations or drivers trapped on river-like highways.
Among those images are some of a gorgeous silver Ferrari California, a vision, sitting abandoned in the middle of a road, glowing under the lights of an overpass.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

hahahaha....yeah that was pretty funny.
He got a cab to Island airport only to find out they were closed.
He had a Hearing in Ottawa !
He continued to Toronto International airport and got a flight !
He laughed off the incident as the Police had assured him they will get a Tow truck

and I wud not buy a beemer if they were free on application. I hate those cars...at least those put together in north america.
I tested a beemer with great interest and intent..but I came away disgusted. I did not like the feel of it. plus the interior is awfully hard and cheap.
I have a 97 300 cl acura, leather interior with all the fixings...far far superior to the beemer.
I love that car and keep it in shape..recently changed struts, upper arms and wheel bearings. and of course engine not remote controlled like newer and new cars. if I have to flee no rfid, or hackable remote so I can be stopped on my way, the car taken over by computer control from afar ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::

I think you test drove the wrong car Maps or was given false info. BMWs are not made or assembled in North America. They are all made and assembled in Germany.

Thanks Cal. I've often thought of trading her in for one of these - especially when I'm at the gas pump.
