Bollywood director  Anubhav Sinha says Hindi film audience is still smitten with star power, but he is happy that new genres of films are making their way to theatres.

Sinha has worked with established actors like  Ajay Devgn and  Sanjay Dutt , as well as with newcomers.

"Bollywood is not moving away from its age-old paradigm. We love our stars and worship them. Pick up the top 10 grossing films of Bollywood, they are all in the same Bollywood space and recipe. Most of them are star-driven films," Sinha told media.

I for the life of me understand the fascination with India movie stars. Here is a superior culture in the world with a glorious past an history who desperately bows down  to and imitate the  west.
They were oppressed and humiliated  for 400 years by the British  but now they are trying to be like their former masters ,
Skin whitening cream sales  to  Indians is through the roof and to add insult to injury an Italian  foreigner  woman is head of their country  .

Sanjay Dutt, who is undergoing a jail term at  Yerawada jail in Pune, will participate along with the inmates in a fundraising event to be held at Balgandharva auditorium on September 26 in Pune.

Dutt will be among 50 members who will be participating in the event organised by the jail authorities to raise money for the prison department employees, said jail superintendent  Yogesh Desai .

Well, I think that's good for both of them.  Sometimes, you really just have to set your rules as a couple, to make sure it will not be a source of conflict in the future.  Show business is a tricky business and you need to be careful as you tread along in it.
