The age of consent in Guyana is 16.

The age of consent was raised from 13 to 16 on October 31, 2005 :

by a unanimous resolution of the Guyanese parliament

Now 1st World countries wanna go where Guyana was  :-[

and LOWER their age of consnnt !

wat are the facts..biological, historical.....


wats seems factual to me...by life expectancy.  over time life expectancy increased.  in Dickens england for example 30 was plenty for ordinary folks.  by 1901 most extensive in the word was USA at 49 average.

what is the age of consent when you live 22 to 30 years?  when does sexual maturity occur when you live such short life..even shorter on average the further back one goes

biologically by the age of 5 female sex organs internally are as mature as they will ever be according to an anatomy report I read once...never followed it up.

the prog in that report was that whatever humanity evolved from was sexually mature and active at 5.  it was also noted that girls were very sexually sensitive at 5 then it went away to return by 12-13.

it seems to me that with religion we have put a serious block in our way to understanding humanity.  when we look at these issues now our view is skewed by religious interference.  such philosophical bullshiiite has destroyed objectivity.

the fact is people at progressively younger ages than we allow now must have done a load effing, sexual heavy-lifting along the way for us to be here today.

and that this effing also included a whole lot of incest which was part and parcel of routine life..another perspective that religion has effed up. 

are today's higher ages of consent a social advance?

I dont know!

I do know that once religion became mainstream to extend and maintain a grip on the populations it had to regulate the very sources of life in ways that subverted ordinary independence and bound them to the church.  they have exploited human sexuality and all perversion extant can be sourced to religious doctrine.

one perversion that wasn't a perversion in ancient times was what the call pederasty or paedophillia.  that was accepted social practice in Japan, India,  China, Greece etc.  the church made it illegal while incorporating the practice in the church itself where it has remained safe for 2000 years

sex is an obsessional drive that must be actualised by all life forms.  it seems to be that life is fragile and iffy, energy based and energy dependent.  for it to go on life must indulge in reproductive practices which are fraught  everywhere one looks nature bends over backward to give forms chance to reproduce..by obsessional drive, overabundance of seed/chances.  never can all seed be actualized.  we are lucky if 1% of the zillions of possibilities for human reproduction embedded in male/female sperm/eggs  become actual humans.  it is the same with every form

it seems to me that straight objectivity is never at play in the examination of life by humanity that is now very religious...been through a LONG RELIGIOUS CONDITIONING! so we cant see truth between 'fallen from grace man..and sinful man! and real biological humanity with its environmental history and social record
