BRANSON, Mo. -- Federal officials are investigating why a Southwest Airlines jet bound for Branson Airport in Missouri instead landed at another airport about 7 miles away that has only about half as much runway.

Flight 4013, carrying 124 passengers and five crew members, was headed Sunday from Chicago's Midway International Airport to Branson Airport.

Dallas-based Southwest spokesman Brad Hawkins says the jet instead landed at Taney County Airport, also known as M. Graham Clark Downtown Airport.

Hawkins says the landing was uneventful and all customers and crew are safe. He didn't have information on why the plane went to the wrong airport.

Passengers disagreed about the nature of the landing, reports CBS Dallas station KTVT-TV.

“They said that we had stopped in like 3,300 feet, and usually I think they were saying that it should take 5,000 feet for a plane to stop,” passenger Shannon Spear told the station. “So, we were very lucky indeed, especially considering that there was a cliff at the end of the runway.

"  … “Honestly, I thought the landing was a little bumpy,” added Spear. “We kind of pushed forward where we almost kind of hit our heads in the seat in front of us.”

Man you have a heart of stone , My friend Chin is in a wheel chair . Have some empathy.
Chin  must tell them what our lord and saviour said on the cross " forgive them father  for they knew not what they do"and take inspiration from the fact that Daniel was thrown in a lion's den and Jonnah was caught in a belly of a whale but they overcame .

I saw my dad new wheelchair yesterday !

It has a hydraulic lift to bar stool height :

Can recline all the way back for a nap.

Beautiful engineering !.....affordable for lawyah Chin  !

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
