He will be alright. It seems like wherever Sam go, stories and media frenzy will follow him. I read there's still a possibility he can make the team. Whatever the case may be, Sam will be fine. There will undoubtedly be interviews to follow to get his opinion and then the dreaded question on if his sexual preference had anything to do with him being cut from the Rams.

Being gay had nothing to do with him being cut from St. Louis.

It was always going to be thought to make that St. Louis defence. Fortunately or unfortunately, he was drafted by a team that already had its defence in tact and add to that there was at least one un drafted players who looked better than him.

Yes, there is gong to be a big thing about it but face facts, he was a low draft pick to begin with. He had two sacks for the second team against second team players in the pre season. Promising, but not good enough for this St. Louis team. Maybe if he were with another team, he would have a better chance.

Perhaps he'll be picked up by a Canadian Football League team.  I'm just not sure whether the Montreal Alouettes - Alouette, gentille alouette - or the Saskatchewan Roughriders more suit his style.

Sam came to understand where a buttered bread for him was located so he played the card. he has been very successful given his level of ability.  there was a bidding war for the rights to his story.  Oprah won!

there are all kinds of other 'benefits' Sam no doubt has cashed out. the man held a card and he played it hard.  he forced the NFL to draft him and give him a chance.

the Rams were never going to keep him. he was not drafted to be kept.  he does not have the ability anyway.  so they brought him in gave him a full chance then cut his rass and deh are in the clear.  they have met all obligations.

Sam met his too.  has made a bundle. now away with him and his bulling. let him keep it to himself now.

I agree with mapoui, think Sam played the gay card to the fullest extent. He is not a very good player. He is currently on the Rams' practice squad as CM said. Remember St Louis hast to play the top two defensive teams in the league 4 times in their schedule, the 49ers and the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks.
