Unfortunately, I have first hand experience with teachers like this. My son is a beautiful, intelligent, physics major in the 11th grade. He has a d-bag for a teacher! This "professor" has called my son racial and homophobic slurs. He has even gone as far as to throw my kids school work on the ground, refusing to assist him with questions. Needless to say, as the super-mom that I am, I strapped on my super-cape and flew down to his school. I had a meeting with the school administrators and even emailed the school board officials of our city. Although the man was "reprimanded" to standards unacceptable for me (just a minor spanking), he has yet to disrespect my child any fashion thereafter. Sometimes these teachers take their "authority" too far. I teach my children to always respect authority, to a certain degree. Never let any teacher, officer or stranger disrespect you in any way. You are human just like them. How dare this teacher! It makes me ill.  ::
