The " very young" Constitution of Guyana has remained in infancy since 1992 when the PPP refused to permit amendments that would've enabled the growth and strengthening of true principles of Democracy, coupled with the "denial of LGE" we can surmise that the intention of the PPP was to set themselves up to rule eventually without oversight all along.
Yesterday's proclamation was nothing less than a Constitutional Coup d'état.

Now they sit back and wait for us to become accustomed to living under a dictatorship as Chinese reality.
