Michael's father made a correct statement when he said that we must change the way the system works by making a change in ourselves.

I wish that I could give that man a hug because he's right.

Rioting won't prevent another incident just like it from occurring. Nor will it change the systematic handling of it when it does occur.

A poster in another forum made a good point.


He said that it's good that whites are participating in the marches and riots and that he don't think that violence is the answer, but change has to start somewhere.


That's really something to think about.
