religion can survive any time ---21st, 22nd, 23rd....its human beings that wont survive.

Yeah but, religion is very dangerous to take literally because it stipulates that the characteristics of god is the same as that of people. As for instance, saying that god demands us to be fruitful and multiply. That's saying no matter what, f-word and reproduce, which is what people do out of blind instinct. But look around you and see how that multiplies human misery so that a few big shots can live large on the profits. That be fruitful and multiply s*** led to the tragic murder of five children by their mother Andrea Yates. Her husband Rusty took that s*** literally and pushed his wife to be a baby machine, which resulted in her killing the children for relief. Okay, and no real deity is anything like this. So religion too is hurting people who take it literally.

The rock always lands hardest of all on children, and people crushing their children with selfishness and ignorance is what ironclad guarantees human misery for generations to come.

Religion will survive but that is not the question . The question is , Can Islam be compatible with the twenty first  century?.
You are right in one aspect . Religion has never done harm to  no one  but what is done  in the name of religion............

I don't see how anybody can say that religion has never done anyone any harm.
