Because Chair said that his cousin was only 58 at the time of his passing.
And the US pulled out of Vietnam somewhere between 1973 and 75.
Okay, so his cousin was only 16 years old in 73' and 18 in 75'
He was too young to have served in Nam.

If you recollect 16 may have been underage, but I know of a guy who was fighting at that age too...the US Army was taking everyone in.

Hello...do you understand that the US was looking for people to go there...if you told them that you were 18...great, you go. People did that for US citizenship/rights.
