The success rate of India's arranged marriages is higher than our ours. They are allowed to meet briefly before the wedding and either can refuse if the other is not attractive to them or there is an immediate personality clash. Two of my good friends are from India and both had arranged marriages. In both cases, they returned from their honeymoons very much in love, and they tell me that is not unusual.

Well the grooms family would have hidden education so, would have been hard after marriage as he would not have been able to do sums or deal with money as he is not good at maths when he answered wrong and gave incorrect answer. The grooms family should have been upfront from the begining and told the truth about education, and this would not have happened or the marriage would not have gone further and now they are humilated in front of everyone. I wander who will marry her now, they will be investigted now and see if they meet the requirments of her test I reckon as she needs a educated man not a man who is not educated.
