Snoop understands the reality. However, he does not trust the new gov't. Given the history of Granger being Burnham's hacket man, Snoop's fears is understood.

So tell me Googs. Do you trust Granger and the PNC? If so, on what basis?

I am sure allyuh know and understand, and remember, dat Guyanan politics, like the rest of the west indies is a zio/anglo saxon satrapy...so dat in all the noise it only have one party in all the politics..THEIR PARTY... because deh own and control dem all from afar.
this will change fuh the better only when the people kick out the politics, the parties and controllers from afar and set up something that cant be manipulated against the the people

I trust no politician!! Plus, I lived during the Burnham days and know what it was like. And Yes, Granger was part of the same party that ruled then. Some even claimed he was the "hacket man" for LFS!
Having said that, the people had no choice to gamble on the combined party. The PPP has been taking the country in the wrong direction. Give them credit in some areas, they have opened the market and worked on the infrastructure.
The opened market allowed more influx of money and then the drug trading started! they got power drunk and greedy. Giving million dollar contracts to cronnies...and on and on..
They betrayed the same people who placed them in office!
Bottom line, I trust neither party at this time but its time to see what the other chaps can do. Hopefully the influx and influence of the WPA, former PPP members, etc will change things. Thats my only hope of change!

Ketch, i pointed out in one of other posts that the Guyana turnaround started under Hoyt. He steered the country towards capitalism and the free market engine kicked in and things started moving into the right direction.
Imagine that the country was in such a deep hole that even when Cheddi took over, 87% of the dollar belong to debt payment!
