Very good point VB...that is why it is good to observe all of the last 10 days.


however it still says in the last 10 days to look to the odd nights.


my issue is....what constitutes as 'night'?  is it the evening time of the odd night or the tahajud time (which is the start of the odd night/day).


lesson here....as my father would say...pray all of them lol

Over praying is exhausting and can cause images in mind ???


I step out in the back around 2 this morning : a break from Nafil rakhats and an outdoor Dua !!


There was this Bird sitting on my rail : I approached and he/she would NOT fly away.


Just sat there staring back at me : I peeked out a few more times : still there !!

When I woke it , it had flown away  !

priya , a month of the Islamic Calendar :

Pope Gregory , christian Calendar is January to December (12 months) and the Year 2015


IN the Muslim world Ramadan is one of 12 months but the Year is : 1436 

So today's date  as you see Belle 's post above is :

28th day of Ramadan 1436.

During this month from Day 1 of ramadan ( we are in day 28) ...Muslims are compelled by God :

to abstain from worldly enjoyment and liking of material things !

and to Fast : without Food or Water from sunrise to sunset ~

and reflect on the power of the Almighty , give praise and cleanse selves of most Sins ...

It is so written.  ;)
