You can see the point why the airlines are jumpy. It would not be the first time that people of a Mediterranean or Asian complexion caused a major terrorist incident.

This will come to a boil. People are ultra cautious...and some would rather err on the side of caution.

Why apologize when you are trying to safe guard the public? That's the thing. When I put down my money for a seat on the plane I am doing it with the understanding that I am going to get to my destination on time, in one piece, and alive. I don't mind they security check me, as long as they check everybody else too.
