After Paris, let’s stop blaming Muslims and take a hard look at ourselves

Dismissing criticisms of tenets of Muslim ideology that are incompatible with Western culture and civilization is NOT the same as being bigoted toward Muslims, and blaming Muslims for attacks such as what happened in Paris isn't bigoted either. It is simply stating a FACT. None of this information discounts the role of Western imperialism in emboldening these factions, but when you have accounts of gunmen screaming "Allahu Akbar" while mowing down hundreds of innocent people (not to mention Muslims that have been murdered in their home countries), you simply cannot divorce the act from the ideology. Doing so will only embolden future acts of violence, and will ensure that things get worse before they get better.

I notice me fren Chin don't want to won up where he living...maybe he should take a walk to the Middle East. There he will experience democracy, and moral equality. Perhaps, he will get to appreciate why they hate some more?

Chin visiting on work related excursion will insulate you from the normal folks. I see the urge in you to paint the muslims in a good light. I have muslim relatives too. I don't call them terrorists. However I have noticed that these very same people are now becoming ultra-conservative, religious neophytes.

What I am saying to you, and you know this too, is that the life you live in the west cannot be compared to living in those countries with the religious straight jacket, and violence ever so present. You cannot be of right conscience when you call the us army a terrorist organization. That is a lie.  You owe the US an apology.

What is more puzzling is your propensity to paint the US as the big bad evil, the same evil you benefit from directly or indirectly, and humanize the terrorists who are hell bent on destroying the way of life you are enjoying. Kind of fatalistic on your part.  I hope that their activities do not affect this part of the world.
