Time magazine, is considering a deal to buy the core business of Yahoo, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Time has heard a presentation from
Citigroup
bankers on pursuing a deal with Yahoo, the
Bloomberg report said
, adding that Citigroup had not been retained by Time.
Yahoo officially launched the sale of its core business, which includes search, mail and news sites, last week.

Canada’s main stock index opened lower on Wednesday as investors shied away from riskier assets
on the prospect of persistently low oil prices....
Oil prices slipped after Saudi Arabia effectively ruled out output cuts
and a U.S. industry report showed crude stockpiles hit a record !

Canada’s main stock dipped slightly on Thursday as lower crude oil prices weighed on energy stocks, while
financial stocks firmed after the release of quarterly earnings by two major banks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange composite index was down 5.40 points, shortly after the open.

For the first time since New Year’s Eve, the Toronto Stock Exchange
closed yesterday above 13,000.
Helped along by surging miners and a bounce in crude oil prices,
the composite index has managed to outpace its global peers so far this year.
How did the Toronto Stock Exchange claw its way back :-\ ...

Canada's largest stock market continues to move up as some of its U.S. counterparts dipped
The Toronto Stock Exchange TSX composite index was up 66.04 points,
about 30 minutes after the opening bell.
The Canadian dollar was at 74.67 cents US, up 0.02 from Thursday's close.
