Well, if this happened to me, I wouldn't really be in it for the money. I would be in it just so the video can be taken down off of the internet. But we all know just how impossible that is.
Even if Erin can get the video to be removed off some sites, there are still thousands of sites who may have the video. Plus, who knows who could have downloaded the video?
I applaud her though for standing up for herself and defending her case. She is the victim here and the offender needs to be locked in jail just so he cannot do this on other women.

This is a perfect example of a misfortune becoming a fortune. I sympathize with with the hotel however because they were not culpable in the matter. The culprit got what he deserves (being locked up in Jail), the hotel will have to fork out most if not all of what she is able to receive because there is the doubt that the culprit will be able to contribute anything meaningful. I guess the hotel will appeal the decision, let's see where that goes.
She did the right thing however for standing to preserve her dignity.
