There should NOT be a "fast track court" for sexual assault cases, because inevitably men, and especially powerful or successful men, will be at greater risk of having their lives and careers by vindictive, dishonest and unstable women, which is EXACTLY what is happening to Gohmeshi right now.

Maybe instead of turning these sorts of trials into media spectacles that reflexively glorify accusers and condemn the accused, regardless of evidence, we should let the criminal justice system take the reigns. Furthermore we should severely punish those found to be making false accusations, to disincentivize this sort of crap.

He is lucky he wasn't on trial in England. Here they are quick to send celebrities to jail for things like this. But if you are a member of The Establishment, they give you a chance to die first before you are considered guilty.

These are the types of cases that I really hate.  They are interesting, I will give you that, but when it turns into the media circus it just fogs up everything and it is just too many opinions all at once.  I am not sure what the man did or did not do, but I find it hard to trust anyone in the entire case, so I tihnk the verict will reflect that for me.

I mean, it's also completely possible that his accusers were full of crap and that's why Ghomeshi was acquitted.
