Here !
12. Limit caffeine intake
It is best to cut down or skip caffeinated drinks altogether. Large amounts of caffeine consumption and an increased risk of miscarriage have been linked in some studies. High levels of caffeine have also been linked to lower birth weight and stillbirth. But caffeine intake in moderation is unlikely to harm your baby. Or you can switch to decaffeinated drinks instead. Here are eight more drinks you should avoid during pregnancy.

Back when I was pregnant, I consumed caffeine, but not in coffee, only in sodas like Coca Cola. Anyway, my in laws and other relatives of my husband were very much against it and always scolded me when they saw me drink soda. But my husband and I have researched about it and we know that a limited amount of caffeine in a day is fine.
So I recommend asking your OB-GYN for the recommended daily intake of caffeine. From what I've read though, it's about 200 mg per day, or two cups of coffee per day. That's not too bad and you can enjoy your espresso as long as it's in moderation.
But it's still best to ask your OB-GYN as she knows best about this. I was lucky that my OB-GYN then was quite lenient and that I was also able to deliver a very healthy baby. Good luck and take care!

reds, i just look into it, and caffeine of any kind is not good for pregnant women, for one caffeine washes away the good nutrients , like calcium, and fibre before nutrients are absorbed.
listen to ketchim, ah think he went through a few pregnancy.
