This is terrible. From what I've read, about 88,000 people were evacuated, including the entire population of Fort McMurray. There has been about 1,600 structures burned down by the blazing fire. As others have said, no lives were lost so that's a great thing.
The firefighters have a hard time battling the fire though. Apart from the dry weather condition, the constant changing of the directions of the wind is another tough enemy. About 24,000 acres have already been destroyed by the fire. Until now, the cause isn't known.
I am praying for the residents and wishing they have the courage to face this tragic incident in their lives. I'm just glad that no one was seriously hurt or even died. It's easy to replace material things, lives are irreplaceable.

Wow what a disaster. That's so sad. My heart goes out to all the victims.
