At the end of the day this is still a business, team owners and executives can't always look at the fan favorite players and do things that aren't in the best interests of the entire franchise. What the Heat offered was more than fair, if he felt disrespected than that is entirely the fault of Dwayne Wade.

Wade's decission I respect. However - the bottom line is that sports has gone too far. They became a fight with dollars in the millions and children dying of hunger. Plus egos run so high that faith if seriously hurt. Let us continue looking for fair efforts. Wade has done for Miami all an athlete can offer. As far as egos I pray for him - No man is created to feel "he is God".

Wade is and always will be a prima Donna. Instead of letting the only organization he has known do their thing to try and keep this a winning franchise, much like dirk novitsky and Tim Duncan always appear to do, for the second off season in a row he has done the opposite. The heat, after all, have his bird rights and can exceed the salary cap to sign him to whatever they want, after they sign other free agents to solidify the team Wade himself would then play for. Wade's ego and selfishness, sadly, became an evident roadblock in accomplishing that.
