I think that any and all people should be able to come up with their own morals. Its really bad that people do this, nations do it with their laws. We have problems with gay rights because people don't believe in the gay life style.
We have problems with a many other things as well, why do we do this to each other? Why can't we all just figure out what's best with facts, instead of acting like we do, but clearly create problems nationwide by pushing our own beliefs on each other.

Because if we do, I guess life would become really boring.
You ever notice that this board only gets hot when people are insulting one another?

Everyone thinks that their path is the right path. That's all it boils down to. And they sometimes forget that the truth of anything in life is like the center of town - It doesn't matter which side you approach it from, when you get there you're all at the same place...

Nice analogy about getting to the centre of town. Some will go straight in front route . Some will take the back route and some will even take the side route but at the end of the day, they will arrive in the centre .... of town.

Well I have not noticed the drama that you say occurs here. I don't understand why our species is so addicted to violence, maybe it's the adrenaline. I hate to hear about bad news getting more attraction than good news.
It makes me want to be anti-social. This world is a crazy place. I take that back, humans are a lost species.

I wish people would just understand that this universe that we live in is big enough for all our different interests, desires and beliefs. No one has to try and make everyone else think like them.

Sure, but if nobody pushed their beliefs, we'd still be living in the Dark Ages.
All progress is caused by the pushing of beliefs and various moral codes.
Womens rights, gay rights and countless civil rights (I read recently of a breast tax in India, where, under British rule, Indian woman had to PAY a fee if they wanted to cover their breasts) were won by the forcing - often violently - of beliefs onto those who resisted the acceptance of these beliefs.
