Marxism is a tool to analyze society.....it inself is not communistic in the strict sense......

Cheddi was an honest man who practised what he preached......even his enemies would admit to that fact......

As far as the 28 years  of dictatorship look closely at the acts of those who opposed Cheddi.....that is the Americans and their Guyanese oportunistic puppets.......when Cheddi was cheated out of office in 1964 let us not forget that Guyana at that time under PPP leadership  since 1957 had achieved the status of the bread basket of the Caribbean......
