nobody is coming for Trinidad. Trinidad is established..its re-conquest is out of the question. Venezuela is not Trinidad's enemy anyway. Trinidad has worked with Venezueala from the start...any regime that has been there
Guyana on the other hand is in a bind. most of its territory is claimed by another nation. there are riches there that both nations want. then there is the population question/potential that is fraught.
that population question keeps Guyana from becoming fully west indian. but if it does not integrate regionally it makes its chances to go on in its current contiguity unlikely.
and its in no ones interest to allow the Guyana population question develop along the lines of massive Indian immigration. what wud it be like for venezueala, for there to be a huge indian stage in Guyana, replete with ability to defend itself and dictate to Venezuela ::confused::
Venezuela will not let that happen.
and while Indians are complaint to the americans doing what they are told to do by washington, washington does not need Indians in Guyana. that could get out of hand. they have the rabid venezuelan rightwing and if they are in power america bizness fix totally. so they are working hard to get the right wing back in power
so no matter what or when Guyana is going to be eviscerated, except if Guyana makes a good deal with the Chavistas - if they prevail in venezueala- or integrates regionally and make a caricom deal with the Chavistas. Guyana is going to have to give up territory regardless. the question is how much..and the resulting deal
that is the only way Guyana can survive in any way near to what it is now. if not it will be swallowed up...or part left as a hungry, water-logged Georgetown ghetto. in which case everyone will migrate anyway
you guys are dreamers..fantasists..the same type of dream washington made for India that ended in BJP insanity and Modi as president
washington is very good at that..finding out what fantasy works for and with every people and providing that fantasy for them..all the better to control them
