A Star analysis shows sex crimes are reported more often in Toronto’s poorest neighbourhoods, a trend some experts consider good news.
Police records combined with StatsCan census data reveals reports of sex crimes to police have increased in a horseshoe-type pattern across the GTA.
The data reveals more than 21,000 sexual offences were reported to police from Jan. 1, 2004 to June 30, 2015. The percentage of reports that led to a charge is not known; however, every record contains the date, police patrol zone location and type of sexual offence, which range in severity from voyeurism to incest.

Time and time again the glare has impacted players’ visibility during games, yet Jerry Jones refuses to make any changes to account for the sun.

Rather than install curtains, Jones has previously said he feels it’s a home-field advantage to have that type of stadium factor impacting games. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
