What's your take on religion

Whiteman religion had this agenda to wipe off African beliefs from the very first day colonization of the African continent started. But I'm quite glad that even with the long years of colonialism, Africa still found a way to preserve some of their culture and values as well as religious practices and pass it down from generations to generations.

Eh, as long as people don't use it to harm, bully or comment illegal activities I have no problem with it. It is just the people that abuse it.

I think that people can't live with religion. It's something that has been sold to us and we took it hook, line and sinker. Some people even kill in the name of religion, this shows you how deep that doctrine is in the modern world. But hey, I don't take it seriously when religion is concerned.

I have seen this book in so many Egyptian historical movies and I keep wondering if the power it's posses is really true or is it just film tricks? If the book of the dead is really true, I doubt old Egyptian kings would ever die.

the book of the dead is the doctrinal principles and manner of suggested living in MA"AT..or in truth and justice...so that at the end when one is judged by Osiris the god of the dead, your heart will be lighter than a feather on the scale of justice, and so you are judged worthy and pass, go into the sweet afterlife

the book of the dead contains the 43 commandments of life from among which the later christians/jews took their ten commandments, among so much else and fitted them into their bible never acknowledging their origins

it is not to deal with the movies at all, as source of accurate information, history or absolute chronology, on which to reason or analyze and base one's conclusions on...

but it is essential to get into study of ancient african culture as it was finessed and expressed culturally, systematically in Egypt..Kemet..and from its origins earlier in inner Lake-land or lacustrine Africa...the great lakes region of Africa where humanity or SheMan originated
