A group of British lawmakers are lobbying for the ability to name the clock tower at the Houses of Parliament as

Elizabeth Tower, as a tribute for the Queen’s years of service to England.

The “Big Ben” moniker itself actually refers to the bell inside the famous clock tower, not the name of the tower itself.
