Rumour has it that Schenectady is built on a toxic dump and I am wondering whether this has any thing to do with the spike in suicides . Apparently a call went out for settlers to go and live in that place but they were no takers . It seemed that only guyanese were dumb enough to take up the offer.

Indeed..the realtors played no small part in that decision making. They bused the guys into Schenectady to buy streets upon streets.
Now this was my question regarding the water too.....

They were not forced the were misled...they were ill-informed...and they were conned to buy property that the realtors themselves would not have bought.

Whe something sounds too good to be true it usually is. They were lured by cheap real estate prices by unscruplous realtors without questioning as to why it was so cheap

Some of these realtors should be ashamed for what they have done to innocent and gullible people. They are nothin more than blood-suckers....sucking the life out of these folks.

this is an old city. a former GE plant was here. it gave people an opportunity
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
