medal count decrease..while others are rising...and the spread of medals wider.

areas of traditional dominace all but erased in athletic areas.  even in swimming others are popping up, even in non traditional areas where swimming was never a feature.

china is rising but such rise is mitigated by the spread of medals.  that establishes that many others nations are now focused, have devised means to raise their standards to required levels and the techniques of excelelnce are no longer dominated by a few big countries.

in basketball the difference is now a few points between the USA giant and the best of the rest of the world.

the diminishing difference in american basketball superiority demonstrates exactly where I am coming from...  american dominance in sports as in much else in the world is already a historical factor..

and where it is not yet past history it is a diminsing factor likely at most an olympics or 2 away from exactly that..american domination in the past tense

gold and silver shorted to ensure no competing interest rates  to USD T-bills. 
no money can be parked anywhere but in T bills or suffer negative interest rates and loss of  value.

You are deluded my friend. USA dictates who produces what, when and how much. We determine the prices. The world needs the US to maintain a stable currency as a standard of exchange. Now which other country satisfies this criteria?

that is a subjective statement ..unless you demonstrate for us how the USA accomplishes all that, i.e its value to the world..which would be the only reason why all would agree to be so governed?
