forever

LOL oh we re so going down memory lane here, I loved me some Keyshia Cole though I still do but I just haven't heard anything worth listening to from her in a while, nothing like her old stuff.

what I love dearly about Keisha is her quality of her voice.  she has a tone to her registers that is so unique, captures and transports me to places far and sweet.

to a great extent for me it does not matter what she sings as long as I hear her voice in its tonal magnificence.  this quality of hers is on total display in the song 'Sent From Heaven' 

out of this world really..really sent from heaven.

For a post called forever I don't see any songs named 'forever' in it lol. Unless I just didn't see all the songs though.

do not look for literal meaning in the title.....it is what the songs call up  the spirit and sense of life

at the moment I cant find the words to convey the sense of eternity the music invokes in me. I don't know if I ever will have such words. but they do transcend routine life for me, leads to a place where the life I live, all in it. do not matter.  day and night, 24/7..time does not matter.  I can live in there and create imagining, the type of existence I would have made were I god.

but I have to come out to deal with some sort of routine in order to go on in and with my limitation which will come to an end at some point.

I am not god and there cant be god in he life that s real. that life is forever, the universe and its basic components.  we are not basic and we wont go on forever.  but the universe will.  nutten comes from nutten. something always gives rise to whatever exists.  which in all simplicity means that there was always something here, and always will have something here. the basics will always be evolving but there will be a universe in some shape or form.

maybe we can become god in it and go on indefinitely. but we would have to find out of that is possible..if it is possible in the universe to become god..to  discover universal power that we might be able to use  to become indefinite and powerful.  but first humanity must mature socially, overcome our hostile contradictions and establish the social organization that would allow us to go on... to avoid species suicide which looms as we speak.

if we so overcome the sky literally would be the limit.  we would be bounded only by what the universe itself is capable/not capable of ultimately..God perhaps

in the meantime in my limitation I can dream and create in my  space sweetness..the sweetness yet impossible in routine life...the sweetness my music intimates.  I can begin where the intimations stop.  I can go on, on my own.  it can be a terrific place save I may dream my life away. but I see nothing wrong in that..dreaming my life away, given the life we have, we have made an impossible mess of.  there is nothing I can do about that mess. I tried but it is beyond me..way beyond me to make the slightest difference.  so why cant I dream my life away!

Intimations of forever is what I find in the music I have posted here...all of it.. from Chaka Khan to Beethoven and Handel, to Indo classical and more I have not gotten to as yet....

that's what its all abut save I don't know if I have conveyed anything I really wanted to say, tried to say.  its really simple everything.  but simplicity is realized in the doing of the thing, understanding it and ding it regularly, applying it to life.  at first it is complex because we don't know..just worked it out, which result is always partial but enough to go on with.  and as we develop facility in it, it yields its simplicity, its part of the general scheme of things, the universal process, which is an integrated whole which we must discover as we go in order to live, to go on, to apply to our survival in search if indefiniteness
