Thanks Kwams ... but warm water??!! Really?? :undecided: Didn't know that ..
I think I added too much brandy plus the heat BUT it's fixed now ... just added some more icing sugar and whisked away. Perfect !!... and it's now safely in the fridge while the mince pies are baking .. :
