Why are you asking if all the wealthy are republicans? What has that got to do with the demands of the republicans with regards to not raising taxes for the rich? At no time has anyone suggested that the rich are all republicans. That suggestion is entirely yours and yours alone. So why sell your suggestion as if it was uttered by someone else? The word dishonesty springs to mind.

Dishonesty may come to your mind....however the inference by Kwami was that Repubs are protecting the rich...and actually this is not about just raising taxes for the rich....this is raising taxes period...because if the rich has to pay more taxes, then they will ensure that the poor re-pays them multiple times over.

And that is absolutely true, but the other way round.
What the Republicans are trying to do is to prevent Obama from raising any cash trough taxation in order to cut the deficit. They want cuts in the budget, and nothing else.
This has nothing to do with whether you are a rich Democrat or Republican. It has all to do with humiliating Obama.

That is one way to look at it...the other way is that the entitlements have grown steadily and there is no end in sight for the generations-based payouts. In a way, one can argue that the Dems are buying election favor by implementing relaxed measures on curbing social spending, and actively promoting an underclass of socially dependent people. Now thins is not the way to go..they need to sensibly compromise on their respective positions and bear in mind that the middle class pay either way. It is not the richly rich, nor the poorly poor...it is the working middle calss that gets hammered...hence my politics is not repubs not dems based.
