wonder if Darren Sammy did an Abdul Hafeez Kardar and left notes for Chanderpaul saying 'you are our only hope' - that was what Pakistan's first ever Test captain did for his premier batsman Hanif Mohammad during the epic 337* which saved Pakistan from certain defeat (in a similar situation to the current one) against, ironically, the West Indies at Bridgetown in 1957-58

West Indies haven't won a test in New Zealand since 1994-95... That was when Lara, Adams and Murray scored tons, while Walsh took 13 wickets to inflict an innings victory. Gone are those glorious days!!"
