HOW MANY OF YOU RECALL THE LAST TEST MATCH AT QUEENS PARK OVAL ?

* It was WI vs AUS in April 2012

* Australia won the toss and batted first.

* Australia scored 311 in their 1st innings(Hussey 73, Watson 56)

* WI made 257 in their 1st innings(Chanderpaul 94, Deonarine 55)

* Australia declared at 160-8 in their 2nd innings

* WI NEEDED 215 FOR VICTORY

* Rain saved Australia----WI 53/2

* The last test the WI played at the Queens park Oval they scored 257 in their first innings against Australia.

* Shiv scored 94 and Deonarine 55.

* But this wicket is certainly NZ bowler friendly and the woeful windies may struggle to score 150.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
