Siv Chanderpaul should continue to play as long as he scores runs because the West Indies current batsmen are lacking especially in test cricket. Age doesn't seem to be a factor at this point because Shiv has continued to outperform the younger batsmen the West Indies has.

if cWI was a sane nationalist organization, looking aftah the interest of the people they wud have given Shive a last celebratory hurrah in England here, that would have benefited all parties, made the people happy and saved west indies..prolly bringing home a victory

England used to  do that all the time..brought back Dennis Compton well over 40..Cyril Washbrook too.  they brought back Brian Close against west  indies..Tom Graveney, Peter Richardson.  and the people were happy to see their old stars who came in and for a game or 2 helped England

the Oz did it too..and India I remember.

Shive in form would have helped immensely this time around.  but this narrow, emotionally scorched cWI administration is a most disgusting thing..so Philistine they wud fit perfectly into Palestine in biblical times.  deh wud not take any action at all that wud even help the team and raise their stock with the people if they think it would harm their control

that is what they think but not including Shive hurts them and they don't know.  the people understand them for the nasty, controlling and exploitative piece of work they are.  their time will come to.  time comes for everyone and everything

bringing back shive would have bought some time for them.  they shortened the time for their own resolution by not calling up shive.
