No Ketch ..get de story straight !!!  Andrew Symonds was born in Birmingham, England.  One of his biological parents was Afro-Caribbean (and not Jamaican).  He was adopted at 3 months old by Ken & Barbara Symonds who emigrated to Australia when he was a toddler !!!
