Alma's problem as a 'great batsman'  scoring too slow. if that was Lara it would be shots all around the wicket, bisecting the field repeatedly.  there is no field any captain could set for him. Lara alone would have scored a ton before lunch or close to one.
Alma should be beating the stuffing out of this west indian nonsense attack... and sending them into bat.  Dinesh better stop this crap after this here.  do not send teams into bat unless it simply cant be avoided

Alma was in no position to go after that which is how I judge this double.  he has a side to kill, to go after records but by the rate at which he scored he was nowhere near after at least 4 hours..against Shytehound Cotts, bowling shyte Tayrol, injured Roach and Benn with no help from the wicket

Benn is one unlucky man.  he began his career as the only capable bowler in an avalanche of runs against the west indies...and he is prolly ending it same way
