I doan agree.  it does not work.  or it may have some efficacy against weaker sides..like the KIiwi when lil Bravo crawled a double and made then bat again and rain save we.
well we cant even do that again with the Kiwi anywhere.  we cant beat that Kiwi side now.

and we not getting any draw against the saffies from any angle...340-3 is 500+ an hour after lunch tomorrow..maybe quicker.

its going to break west indies spirit before their first innings to have 500+ to deal with..whereas if the saffies had 350-400 to deal with batting second in the match, it would not be so easy for them.  deh wud have to wipe that off before they got a lead...and with that west indies can now play the restricting game with accurate bowling and proper fields

I agree with you Maps. Affected psychologically by a big total, teams tend to crumble.

the point is that that is their best chance of making any runs at all..batting first.

their next best chance of scoring is like now..they send the saffies in they make 600, bowl out west indies for 250 and make them follow  on.  the saffes are tired and west indies score big.

when will they score otherwise captain ::confused::

they are a weak side..you expect a weak side to score in the fourth innings when the overall averages for fourth innings scoring is the lowest of any innings at  all of test cricket ::confused::

allyuh check that out and see if I am wrong.  I dont think I am.  the foruth innings is not where Ramdin wants to be if he can avoid it

and we have tended to crumble with less pressure...
