That is for sure. I met him in Guyana in early October during a 4 day game and he was complaining that his team did not want him to go into the field. The guy just loves playing cricket and he is not lazy either.

He had a slight hamstring problem and still wanted to go out and field.

* Shiv is the consummate BALLOIL! The man loves his cricket

* I am sure you found Shiv to be humble and totally unpretentious.

* It's sheer envy and jealousy from some so-called West Indian fans who want Shiv to retire.

* I'll wager that anytime Shiv walks to the wicket his detractors hope and pray he doesn't score any runs.

That is for sure, the most humble successful person I ever met. He is unpretentious as well. The man is definitely the ultimate balloil and I am sure he will get to teh 12K and cause a lot of the haters a lot of agita.
