That was a thriller of a final .... but darn I so wanted Sixers to win that for Binga and what a final over from him!!  His Cappo cocked up !!!

19.4 Lee to Coulter-Nile, OUT, knocked him over! Do we have a twist on the cards here? Binga in his final over in cricket bowls one full and straight. Coulter-Nile jumps outside off to scoop and misses. Lee doesn't, topples the stumps and out comes the vintage chainsaw celebration!

19.5 Lee to Whiteman, OUT, got 'im! Runs in from around the wicket for a length ball on middle and off stump, Whiteman makes some room for himself to drive through the covers and fails to connect. What an over to bowl in your final match!

19.6 Lee to Yasir Arafat, 1 run, he's missed it! Henriques, the man who lugged Sixers with a brilliant half-century, has fumbled a simple run-out chance! Scorchers sneak through! They've defended their BBL crown! Everyone had come up inside the circle, three short covers, a silly mid-on even. The ball was full and straight again, Arafat went for a flick and found midwicket. The batsmen set off right away for a suicidal single. Henriques got a lovely bounce, but he could not grasp the ball in his hands! Lee is on his knees, head in hands. What a way to bow out of cricket!

As much as I would like to see Carberry back in the England setup, I think his days as an England international are likely over, eve at the t20 level which is a shame.
