Very good match and a great display by Bangladesh. This performance only further justifies Bangladesh's place in the quarter finals because they have shown that they are really serious about cricket and they play like it.

It sounds like Bangladesh put up quite a fight. I doubt they'll be able to topple India though 

Yes they did and in these games you have to have some luck.

NZ let Mahmudullah off on a couple of occasions and to his credit he made them pay.

Good for him. It's amazing that he was the first Bangladeshi batsman to get a world cup hundred and then he went and got another one in the next game.

As for players being let off, I think that Hashim Amla gets dropped more often than most batsmen. Maybe the importance of his wicket puts extra pressure on the fielders.

NZ have been the quiet underdogs for a while but no more leading into this WC as considered one of the favourites.

With this added pressure they seem to have floundered a bit vs BAN as very dependent on Mac and Corey for runs, but good to see Guptill and Taylor put their hands up.  They all need to contribute and yes NZ is still one of my favourites ........
