While I agree with this lineup, sadly the West Indies don't seem to know what is best for them and I will say that they will not play Cottrel because he has not been given a game even against the UAE to test his form. I hope they drop Smith for Charles though.

There have been three matches played at the Westpac Stadium so far this World Cup - the first match England were skittled out for 123 against New Zealand, the second match Sri Lanka chased down 310 and in the final match South Africa batted first, scored 341 and beat UAE by 146 runs. I don't recall the wicket offering any real assistance to spinners in the three games. It should be a good wicket to bat on with plenty of runs to be had.
