All crime in Trinidad is committed by the Guyanese. They wash upon our shores and immediately proceed to rob, maim, murder and loot. Our once beautiful beaches and our once peaceful neighbourhoods have been utterly destroyed by the Guyanese menance. They are a blight, I say. A blight!

Government policy is to put the Guyanese infidels in forced labour camps. Only a primitive Guyanese would contemplate something as ghastly as murder.

Kanhai was Trinidadian. The Guyanese Ministry of Propaganda is responsible for the myth that he was Guyanese.

But seriously, Trinidad, since 2005ish, has had high murder, kidnapping, inequality and obesity rates. The government's response is to simply jail and kill poor people.

There was also a spike in crime in the 2000s because drugs and arms were coming from South America, and moving up the Caribbean and into America, with Trinidad as a temporary stop-off point.

Bush and Obama gave the Trinidadian government alot of gear to deal with this. The local police force even got high-tech helicopters. The police were so proud of this, they'd ride the chopper to each crime scene, blowing away all crime-scene evidence in the process.

Still, I doubt the murder or crime rates in Trinidad are higher than in Jamaica. My guess is, the policing is better, so more minor crimes are reported in general.

So why Trinidad holds the Record in the Caribbean ?
