Great piece of fielding from Jordan on that run out off his own bowling. The bat bounced up in the air as it hit the ground very reminiscent of Jordan's own run out against Bangladesh in the World Cup last year. Jordanis definitely England's best fielder. 83/7 (15.4 ovs).

Never in doubt. :P Yikes. England very fortunate to escape with the win here. Moeen and Willey bludgeoning 35 off the last 2 overs was the difference between the two sides. Despite winning, England's net run rate is not helped significantly enough. As such, they will still possibly need help to qualify for the semi-finals even if they beat Sri Lanka.

Moeen Ali named Man of the Match and earns a free shepherd's pie out of me for his troubles.

One thing everyone can agree on, England's matches are always fraught with action. Never a dull moment.
