Folks, had the selectors not shafted the great Shivster by dropping him
albeit to preserve Lara's record aggregate as a west indian

Shiv would still be ahead as a west indian.

and will finish it in sixth : having passed Jayawardene late on the second day
then Shivnarine Chanderpaul
and finally Brian Lara with a cover-drive for four from the penultimate delivery of day three !
