Why Pitches Like MCG Should Be Despised

dude, as soon as the Ashes done those 'portable' Pitches will be removed
for rugby and football !

Here in Australia, at MCG for example, they remove the pitches - 10 of them -
in the off season and leave them in an open ground near the G.
They keep working on them during the off season - on the foot holes, tending to grass etc. -
but they leave it open to the elements.
The actual work on the pitches begins when they are installed in the ground.

The World Cricket Police has formally charged the ICC with bringing the game into disrepute for challenging the quality of their hallowed MCG turf. The WCP are appalled at the slight on their doctored pitches & are seeking a long custodial term

WCP should seek to store these "portables" : INDOORS
and not exposed to the elements, outdoors!
