With this present Pakistan Test team you wonder how much of a free hand Azhar Ali has in taking decisions on the field without the constant interference from the heavy-duty coaching staff. His captaincy certainly seemed hampered as a result during the Tests in Australia

Day 4: Rain, Rain, Rain !

England trail by 229 runs. CRR: 1.4

3.50pm: Play has been abandonded, apparently the groundstaff have concluded it would take 2.5-3 hours

to get the pitch ready mopping up the outfield potentially longer. So we'll cash our chips on day four

and come back to try again in the morning.

This game has got D-R-A-W stamped all over it ~~

There will be no tea interval. There are 56 overs left in the game. The last hour starts at 6pm or after 41 overs have been bowled, which ever is later. I presume hands will be shaken some time before that.

Chanderpaul suffered the injury while playing a shot in the nets on Tuesday.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
