5.30pm Okay, the light isn't good enough to continue in Galle.
The officials take the players off and they are unlikely to return later !!
Only 34.4 overs were possible on the opening day of the second Test
after persistent rain effectively washed out
the morning and afternoon sessions.

Permaul was the epitome of discipline, with probing, consistent lines
- mixed in with the odd arm ball -
that would have done even the finest exponents of left-arm spin proud.

Finished with career-best figures of 5 for 35
