India had Africans for thousands of years, especially along India's West Coast and South India. They have at least two tribes - the Siddis and can't remember the other one off the top of my head. So ever think that the Indians are a pure race think again!

In many Bollywood movies they would show Indian-Afros in roles as dacoits or drummers and dancers. In the movie Razia Sultan, Darmendra played Jamal-ud-din Yaqut who was an Asyssinian slave, he serve as a general in Razia’s army. But in general during the mughal rule they were preferred as soldiers in the armies.
Razia Sultan was the only female Sultan of Delhi and rules from 1236 to 1240.
